Brahmatal Lake – The Frozen Crown

During the winter months from December to March, the lake partially or fully freezes, creating a magical mirror-like surface surrounded by snow. Distance: 6 KM Trek | Duration: 4–5 Hours | Altitude: Approx. 9,800 ft. Start trekking through beautiful oak and rhododendron forests while enjoying stunning Himalayan views. The trail gradually climbs through snow-covered paths leading to the picturesque Bekaltal Lake, often surrounded by snow during winter months. Bekaltal to Brahmatal
Distance: 6 KM Trek | Duration: 5–6 Hours | Altitude: 12,250 ft. Climb through dense forests and snow-covered trails while enjoying spectacular views of Mt. Trishul and Mt. Nanda Ghunti. The route becomes increasingly dramatic as you ascend through the snowline. Reach the iconic frozen Brahmatal Lake surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks. Overnight camping at Brahmatal under a breathtaking star-filled sky.
Brahmatal Summit & Return to Lohajung
Distance: Approx. 12 KM Trek | Duration: Full Day | Altitude: Approx. 12,500 ft. Start early morning for the summit climb and witness breathtaking sunrise views painting the snow-covered Himalayas in golden hues. Enjoy panoramic 360-degree views of Mt. Trishul, Mt. Nanda Ghunti, Chaukhamba, and surrounding Garhwal peaks before descending through forests and open meadows back towards Lohajung. Overnight stay at Lohajung.
Lohajung to Rishikesh
Distance: Approx. 260 KM Drive | Duration: Full Day | Altitude: Approx. 1,220 ft. Payment Policy: Pay ₹1,000 per head to reserve your seat. Remaining amount payable on arrival of trip. Any flight bookings shall be paid 100% in advance. 25% rescheduling charges apply.
Cancellation: If trek is called off due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (rains, earthquake, landslides, strike, pandemic etc), no refund will be provided. Alternatives may be offered based on situation.
Terms: Full payment must be made before trip begins. IDs shall be verified before boarding. Transfer of bookings is not permitted. Drinking & smoking strictly prohibited. Travelers must take care of their luggage. Management not responsible for damage or missing items.
