Chopta to Tungnath Temple & Chandrashila Summit Trek
Distance: Approx. 10–12 km trek | Duration: 6–7 hours | Altitude: 12,000 ft. Wake up early and begin the trek toward Tungnath Temple. The trail is around 3.5–4 km one way and passes through scenic alpine meadows with stunning mountain backdrops. Visit the world's highest Shiva temple and continue the optional climb to Chandrashila Summit for breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba, and Trishul peaks. Return to Chopta for dinner and overnight stay.
Chopta to Deoriatal Lake & Return to Delhi
Distance: Approx. 4.6 km trek + drive | Duration: Full day | Altitude: ~7,999 ft. Drive to Sari Village and begin the peaceful trek to Deoriatal Lake. Marvel at the crystal-clear reflections of the Chaukhamba and surrounding Himalayan peaks in the lake's still waters — a paradise for photographers.
